Filmed on the orchard floor, this rare wildlife footage captures a ground nest at the very moment a chick begins to emerge from its beautifully camouflaged egg. The species is renowned for nesting directly on bare soil, gravel, and leaf litter, relying on the natural patterns of its eggs and chicks for protection from predators.
