Video Description
Nowadays it seems that just about any game that could have a progression system, does have a progression system. They can be a great way to engage players, extend a game's length, and give you more bang for your buck. However, while I do enjoy them just as much as the next person, I think they have become stagnant in their design/implementation, which has led to a bit of disconnect between player and character. Nowhere is this more noticeable than in a game like The Outer Worlds. A delightful game to experience no doubt, but I think it was dragged down by it's shallow and run of the mill progression system. Just like many, many other titles.. Follow me on Instagram for the occasional upload of randomness: https://www.instagram.com/aces_case/ Music in this episode is a mish mash of tracks from The Outer Worlds OST. It's really good stuff, not gonna list the specific tracks here because you should just go and listen to the full thing. Perfect to throw on in the background while you get some work done. Have a good one :)
