KOMPAS.TV - Ratusan calon jemaah umrah dan haji melaporkan pemilik Hanania Travel ke Polda Metro Jaya.
Para korban mengaku telah melunasi biaya perjalanan, namun hingga kini tidak ada kepastian terkait jadwal keberangkatan.
Suasana sempat memanas di ruang SPKT Polda Metro Jaya saat 127 orang mengerumuni pemilik travel yang diduga melakukan penipuan dan penggelapan dana perjalanan umrah.
Sebelum membuat laporan polisi, para jemaah sempat melakukan mediasi dengan pihak travel. Namun, pertemuan berlangsung alot dan tidak menemukan titik terang karena pihak travel disebut tidak mampu memberikan kepastian keberangkatan maupun pengembalian dana.
Menurut perwakilan korban, para jemaah merasa ada kejanggalan dalam proses pemberangkatan, meskipun sebagian besar korban telah melunasi seluruh biaya perjalanan.
