THUGS hurled bricks, glass bottles and bins in a vicious clash with riot police – after a protest over Henry Nowak’s murder turned violent. The tragic student, 18, was murdered by a Sikh man on his way home from a night out in Southampton – before cops arrested the teen despite his five stab wounds and pleas for help. Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside a Southampton police station on Tuesday afternoon – following news that an officer who arrested Nowak had resigned. But as the protests continued into the night, a breakaway group began chucking glass bottles, bins, stones, cans, and various other objects at riot police in the St Denys area where Henry was killed.
