JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Menteri Koordinator Hukum, Hak Asasi Manusia, Imigrasi, dan Pemasyarakatan (Menko Kumham Imipas) RI, Yusril Ihza Mahendra angkat bicara terkait Wamen Imipas, Silmy Karim yang ditahan KPK karena terjerat kasus dugaan korupsi.
"Kita semua sangat prihatin dengan terjadinya peristiwa ini ketika pemerintah mencanangkan untuk mewujudkan reformasi birokrasi dan reformasi hukum untuk menciptakan suatu pemerintahan yang bersih, bebas dari korupsi, tapi ternyata masih ada juga praktik-praktik korupsi yang terjadi di lingkungan pemerintahan, khususnya di bidang keimigrasian," ujar Menko Kumham Imipas Yusril pada Kamis (4/6/2026). "Ini merupakan satu tantangan yang berat bagi pemerintah untuk betul-betul melakukan pengawasan, melakukan penegakan hukum secara konsisten, dan menjalankan seluruh kebijakan pemerintah yang diarahkan oleh Presiden Prabowo Subianto," lanjutnya.
