Nationals Senate Leader Bridget McKenzie says Australians are “appalled” by the government’s deceitfulness around CGT and negative gearing changes. “What this budget shows is the level of incompetence on economic management from the Labor Party,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News Australia. “Australians are appalled that they were told one thing before the election, only to have within a year that flip and no real explanation. “When you look at this budget it is an attack on the engine room of our economy."
