I’ve attempted something similar before, but that time, I worked with a standard LEGO set, resulting in two designs that felt quite alike. To ensure this project felt fresh and unique, I decided to tackle a UCS set instead. Not only that, but I also took things a step further by merging Jabba’s Sail Barge with the Sarlacc Pit set, creating an exciting two-in-one combo. Throughout the video, I walk you through the entire process—from set photography and digital editing to crafting a physical cardboard box. Along the way, I also share some cool tips and tricks in Photoshop to help you refine your own designs. What makes this video stand out from my usual content is its presentation. You might notice an almost unhealthy amount of editing, all in an effort to make it feel like I'm embarking on a journey through the Star Wars galaxy. I "visit" various locations from Return of the Jedi (the movie this LEGO set is based on), constantly getting interrupted by key events from the film. I love blending skit-like storytelling with my Photoshop projects, and I thought this approach could make for a fun, immersive experience.
