Video Description
Today we’re eating Chinese street food in China's Guizhou province. This region is famous for having some of the most unique Chinese street food in the entire country. It's a province with a very special style of Chinese food. Cannon Chicken - Located deep in a Chinese morning market, this market has lots of chinese street foods to try, but perhaps the most famous one is the Laziji thousand chili chicken. Hand pounded sticky rice - this is one of the most traditional Chinese street foods of Guizhou. It's usually eaten for special celebrations, but this shop makes it every day for customers to enjoy. Sour Spicy Fish Pot (Suantangyu) - This is the most famous flavor profile of Guizhou cuisine, and we came to try it at a luxury seafood restaurant in Guiyang. It's almost like a seafood buffet style but not quite, but the vibe is the same. Famous Guizhou style street noodles (Changwang mian) - Here in Guizhou you can have some very unique Chinese noodles. You can order everything from chicken feet to spicy pork crackling and much more. I actually really enjoyed the bowl! Special Guizhou style hot pot (ditan huoguo) - For me even better than Sichuan food! This hot pot was so potent with fermented beans and rich pork belly flavor, like upgraded bacon! You must try this dish once in your lifetime! Guiyang is an awesome city with incredible food, I can't wait to come back!
