In his talk "Creating Connections: The Seven-Minute Gap," Clark explores what happens when extreme wealth and deep poverty exist side by side in the same community, and challenges us to rethink what it means to be neighbors. Clark serves as the Community Education Director at Kennett Area Community Service (KACS), where he oversees programs like Getting Ahead, Staying Ahead, and Financial Empowerment. His work focuses on building pathways out of poverty through connection and community support in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Before joining KACS, Clark spent seven years teaching high school Spanish in Delaware followed by four years as a bilingual caseworker and program coordinator at LCH Health and Community Services in Kennett Square. This combination of direct service and education gives him a unique perspective on how connections, and not just resources, create lasting change.
