Video Description
The Arctic is facing a threat it has never seen before. Underwater volcanoes may be forming near remote Bennett Island. Scientists have spotted smoke like plumes rising over the ocean. The seabed is rising and sinking. The air is getting warmer. Something is shifting deep below the surface. If an eruption or strong earthquake happens during an ice free period, it could trigger a tsunami. The Arctic is not ready for that.
