Victor Davis Hanson unravels ‘big fear’ around China, reaffirms American strength

Author and Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson unravels the big fear of China being at parity with the United States. “All the indicators are pretty positive; you look at GDP… we were told ten years ago they would pass us,” Mr Hanson told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “People forget that the astonishing advance they’ve made from an almost peasant society 50 years ago is not the same as parity with the United States. “It’s the next big fear, but it’s not materialising the way that people had said it would.”
