Video Description
Apartment hunting in Shenzhen took me much longer and became much more stressful than I expected... After checking so many apartments, I honestly became even more confused about what I really wanted. A few things I learned from this experience and wanted to share with you: In Shenzhen, most apartments require 2 months deposit + 1 month rent upfront. If you want cheaper apartments in cities like Shenzhen or Shanghai, many people choose to live in “urban villages” (城中村). Even some foreigners live there because it is much more affordable. Usually schools or companies help foreign teachers arrange apartments in China, but if you ever need to search by yourself, I hope this video and information can also be useful for you ❤️ ✨Join my Patreon for early access and ads-free videos .
