Seals love to hang out and play on this specific platform, but their natural curiosity has a deadly cost. We found a seal fighting to survive, its entire body tangled in a massive loop of abandoned turquoise netting that was dragging it underwater. This was a tricky, high-stress water rescue from the kayaks, not our usual beach run. After a difficult struggle, we finally managed to cut it free.
