A frantic dash back to a cruise ship in Progreso, Mexico, has gone viral after two women realised theyd forgotten to switch their phones to ship time leaving them dangerously close to being stranded without their passports. The clip, posted on TikTok by notreallyava and now with over two million views, shows the pair sprinting toward the Margaritaville cruise as crowds on nearby balconies cheer them on. The women said they had been shopping for seashells, believing they still had two hours to spare. One of them suddenly felt uneasy, so they grabbed a taxi back to the port. The driver told them the ship had already left, sending them into panic as they sped toward the dock. When they arrived, a security guard shouted one minute, prompting them to run full speed toward the gangway. The ship blasted its horn as they approached, and passengers from two cruise lines watched the dramatic scene unfold.
