Video Description
Since the release of Super Mario Maker 2 clever engineers all have been unified by a simple vision. The simple idea of coming up with an encryption mechanism in Super Mario Maker that can not be beaten. To upload a password level that can only be beaten by the level's creator. The holy grail of Super Mario Maker. To upload an unbeatable level without actually having to be good at the game. Over the years countless people worked towards this simple vision and dozens of attempts to create cryptographically impossible levels were uploaded to Super Mario Maker’s servers. And yet they all met the same fate. Every single one of them saw their masterfully engineered combination lock completely break down as soon as Super Mario Maker’s relentless community got their hands onto it. That was until recently! Because recently the community got challenged with an encrypted level that actually confronted them with a huge puzzle. In this video we are going to investigate how they managed to solve it nonetheless. ---------- / Patreon / Support content like this: patreon.com/ceave ---------- / Links/ Agent L’s wonderful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPw-J4_jWQM The Mario Maker level viewer: https://smm2.wizul.us/ "It rhymes with toad." - 0NX-XBB-2YG ---------- / Sources/ Wikipedia: Great Exhibition, Chubb Detector Lock, Alfred Charles Hobbs Slate: https://slate.com/human-interest/2013/03/alfred-c-hobbs-the-american-who-shocked-victorian-england-by-picking-the-worlds-strongest-lock.html ----------- / Credits for the Music / -------Nintendo The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time OST - “Gerudo Valley” ------Kevin MacLeod "Adventure Meme" Kevin MacLeod incompetech.com this song is Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
