The Road to Gorontalo – 600km on New Bike! (Sulawesi)

In this episode of my Sabang to Merauke journey, I continue across Sulawesi — starting in Palu, where I reveal my brand new motorcycle in collaboration with FIFGROUP. With over 600 kilometers ahead of me, I set off toward Gorontalo, Indonesia’s 16th province on this trip. Over five days of riding, I put the new bike to the test, face long stretches of road, and meet some truly kind-hearted locals. One fisherman even handed me a bit of cash to help cover my gasoline — an act that inspired me to pay it forward. With help from my Orang Baik community, we gave away nearly 700 liters of free gasoline to bypassing locals. As I arrive in Gorontalo, I visit the historic Otanaha Fort, a 16th-century site built during the Portuguese arrival in Sulawesi. The journey ends on a warm and personal note, as I join local subscribers Anto and Ayu for Buka Puasa dinner during the holy month of Ramadhan.
