Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh di lokasi, sejumlah petugas dari Kejaksaan telah berada di kantor BGN sejak dini hari dan melakukan pemeriksaan di dalam gedung. Hingga proses berlangsung, pengamanan di sekitar kantor BGN juga tampak diperketat. Penggeledahan ini terjadi sehari setelah Presiden Prabowo Subianto melakukan perombakan jajaran pimpinan BGN. Dadan Hindayana dicopot dari jabatan Kepala BGN dan digantikan oleh Nanik Sudaryati Deang. Selain itu, dua wakil kepala BGN, Ledwik Pusung dan Sony Sanjaya, juga diberhentikan dan digantikan oleh Agustina Arumsari serta Mayjen TNI Trenggono. Hingga kini belum ada keterangan resmi terkait materi pemeriksaan maupun tujuan penggeledahan tersebut.
