Steam Train Track Race Up a Hill | Two Steam Locomotives on the Tharandt Incline

In the course of the 16th Dresden Steam Locomotive Meeting on April 14, 2024, two steam locomotives ran parallel on the Tharandt ramp. The show freight train with the steam locomotive 52 8079 was waiting in Tharandt station for the steam locomotive 23 7097 with the passenger train to arrive. The parallel drive then took place via the Tharandter ramp to Klingenberg-Colmnitz. From there, the trains continued separately to Freiberg and finally back to Dresden Central Station.
