Video Description
We were literally packing up the Landcruiser when the plea for help came in. A group of eagle-eyed tourists at Cape Cross spotted something we had missed: a seal with a packing strap tight around its neck. The team didn't hesitate. We knew if we left then, this seal might never be found again. Thanks to those observant visitors who took the time to report what they saw, we were able to jump back into action and remove the strap before it caused permanent damage. This rescue shows that everybody can be part of the solution: if you see an entangled animal, say something. Your voice might just be the only thing standing between an animal and a slow, painful death. 🦭 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Please visit our website to find out more about our work and how to support us: ➡ Website: https://www.ocnamibia.org/ ➡ Donate via Paypal: https://ow.ly/BTm550PIavq ➡ Donate via Stripe: https://ow.ly/Xy1F50PIMzQ ➡ Support via Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/OCN ➡ FAQs: https://www.ocnamibia.org/faqs Follow us on social media: ➡ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oceanconservationnamibia/ ➡ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OCNamibia ➡ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@oc_namibia ➡ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/ocnamibia/ ➡ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ocnamibia 😊 Thank you for every like, share, comment and subscribe 😊 Ocean Conservation International is registered as a non-profit organisation under chapter 501(c)3.
