How to write a contrast essay

Discuss, Evaluate and To what extent all pretty much mean the same thing - explain something with evidence but then show both sides of the story. Contrast, the fourth essay command term in IB Psychology, requires something a little different. Here's a basic overview of how you could write a contrast essay. I forgot to mention in the video, but some possible contrasting points to consider: - The approach in Psychology they focus on - The methodology used in the supporting studies - Relevant contextual factors (time, place, people, etc.) - Contributions, strengths, applications, limitations - are there differences in these? If the above are too abstract that's because they need to cover the wide range of things you might be asked to contrast.
