Video Description
High school students in Tennessee graduated in the pouring rain. Some were unhappy that the once in a lifetime event went ahead despite the weather. Mother Britney Garner tells Inside Edition she kicked her shoes off and walked onto the field to stand over her daughter with her umbrella. "I just couldn't believe this was happening," Garner says. But others, like graduate Ben Harris, say the rain made it a fun event. "If it can bring some hope to people that you can truly weather the storm, both literally and metaphorically, then it's worth it," Harris' mother Andrea Hutchinson says.
