Day in the Life of a Japanese Truck Factory Worker

A day in the life of a Japanese automobile factory worker. This is a typical day working at Isuzu Motors in Japan from the assembly line workers morning routine, his daily work tasks and after work activities with his co-workers. This is glimpse of life in Japan working in the automotive industry on the factory floor. Isuzu Motors is one of Japan’s largest automobile companies and the #1 truck manufacturer in the country with 2 major factories, and Shun is based in their Fujisawa plant, where he works as a manufacturing department captain for their Assembly line. First thing Shun does, when arrives at the factory is head straight to the locker room to change into his uniform, but it’s a little bit of walk to get there as the entire facility is massive, over 1,010,000 square meters about 250 acres. It’s so large that company runs internal shuttle buses to help workers get around. In total, there roughly 6,000 hard working employees which all play a part in producing around 500 trucks per day.
