キッセイ薬品工業は難病の血管炎の治療薬「タブネオス」を国内で販売していますが、服用した20人が重篤な肝機能障害を発症し、死亡したと発表しています。
キッセイ薬品工業がきょうにも厚労省の指示を受け、医療機関に「タブネオス」を使用する際の注意を呼びかける「ブルーレター」という安全性速報を出すことが分かりました。
肝機能障害が多くの場合、使用後3か月以内に発症していることから、高い頻度で肝機能検査をすることや新たな患者も含めて使用前の検査も盛り込まれます。
アメリカの医薬品当局はタブネオスの有効性を示すデータに虚偽の記載があったと明らかにしていて、厚労省は「海外の規制当局とも連携しながら対応する」としています。
