Video Description
What started as a simple idea slowly became one of the most personal parts of my Brompton journey. I first began drawing directly onto my bike using Posca markers — turning the frame into a moving sketchbook filled with comic-style line art, doodles, and character details. Every panel, curve, and tube became part of the canvas. Unlike decals or wraps, everything was hand-drawn freehand. No undo button. Just marker, patience, and imagination. The inspiration came from manga/comic line art aesthetics — bold outlines, layered details, mechanical textures, and playful chaos blended together onto the tiny Brompton frame. Over time, the bike slowly evolved from a standard foldie into something that felt uniquely mine. What I enjoy most is that the artwork changes depending on lighting, angle, and distance. From afar it looks clean and monochrome, but up close you start discovering hidden details everywhere. It’s not just customizing a bike anymore — it became a form of storytelling on wheels. Sometimes the best projects start with simply picking up a marker and daring to draw on something expensive. 😅 #Brompton #PoscaMarker #ComicArt #LineArt #CustomBike #BromptonLife #BikeArt #ThrowbackWednesday #HandDrawn #Joestoys
