Video Description
May 4th is Star Wars Day! For today, Howard discussed going to the Dome movie theater in Sacramento and watching A New Hope in 1977. He letterpress printed a phrase typeset in 72 point Caslon font. The phrase in the print states, “May the 4th be with you!” Above the text is a print of a spaceship from a photo engraving. This was printed with blue rubber base ink using our Washington hand press, which was manufactured in 1852.
